 tend-skinPost treatment care:

  • No hot baths, hot tubs, steam rooms, or saunas for 24 hours following a wax treatment.
  • No sun, after two days you may use sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 as your skin will be much more sensitive.
  • Applying Tend skin (pictured right) after waxing helps improve the appearance of skin redness and helps minimize next –day post wax bumping. Once skin has cleared, apply several times to maintain clarity.
  • If irritation should occur an antibiotic ointment, such as Neosporin, is recommended to keep the area continually moist, avoiding infection and scabbing.
  • Avoid heavy exercise or sweating for 8 hours following your appointment, especially if you are particularly sensitive or irritated.
  • It is best not to exfoliate the skin for 2-3 days after your wax. We suggest you exfoliate regularly after the procedure to help prevent ingrown hairs.
  • Routine waxing helps the skin become accustomed to the procedure and will minimize irritation.
